SLANT ORIFICE PLATE

A Slant Orifice Plate is a specialized flow measurement device used in pipelines to measure the flow rate of liquids, gases, or steam. It is a variation of the standard orifice plate, but with a slanted (or angled) edge instead of a perfectly circular edge.

The slant helps in minimizing the potential for flow disturbances and provides more accurate flow measurements, especially in systems where the fluid flow is not perfectly uniform or when the orifice needs to accommodate higher flow velocities or other specific conditions.
